Corporate Governance

Tallgrass Energy is committed to sound principles of corporate governance.

  • Safety First – Safety is the most important foundational pillar at Tallgrass. It permeates everything we do. Our success, as a company and as a neighbor, depends on it.
  • Integrity and Respect –We honor, and trust in, the integrity of ourselves and our colleagues to do the right thing. We’re open and honest, we welcome feedback, we resolve without finger-pointing and we do what we say we’re going to do.
  • Stay Nimble – Being nimble keeps us flexible and fluid. It gets us beyond “that’s the way we’ve always done it,” and allows us to find more creative solutions. It enables us to get to “Yes, we can do that.”
  • Diversity – We embrace our individual differences, knowing that a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, cultures and perspectives strengthens the collective team and propels us to achieve our common goals.
  • Teamwork – We understand that teamwork makes us better and we work hard to hold each other up. We work together. We learn together. We win together.
  • Excellence – We set the bar high for ourselves and our colleagues, and we hold each other accountable to be the best we can be.
  • Continuous Improvement – We strive to bring our best selves to work every day. We evaluate and learn from our experiences and always look for ways to improve systems, procedures, performance and outcomes.
  • Open Communication – We’re transparent, communicating with all stakeholders to build relationships, set expectations, share what we’re doing, solve problems, connect with each other and build trust.
